Well at least to me anyway, and when one looks closely there can be found appreciation and variation in every natural stone floor that is refurbished because they are all unique in their own way.
Who are we?
We are based in Hertfordshire but cover North and West London as well. We are professional tile restorers and work with all types of natural stone and are able to completely grind and resurface, deep clean or polish and maintain these materials.
Our service is pretty comprehensive and we can offer deep cleaning of all types of tiles as well to include, Cement encaustic tiles, Quarries, Victorian and also exterior tiles. With in depth knowledge of deep cleaning techniques and processes we are fully equipped to bring your natural stone back completely.
Deep cleaned and then polished
After extensive testing we can usually find safe Chemicals to deep clean and remove old sealers and product that may have been used on the stone along with ingrained dirt etc. If we do not remove this contamination first it will both effect the look of the finished job and the seals we need to reintroduce into the stone to preserve it. We ideally need a clean polished / finished stone to be able to seal and protect it.
Polishing your stone tiles
Once all nice and clean we are able to recondition the surface of the tiles to either bring up a shine , crystallise or leave them more of a matt sheen if the client prefers. Stone polishing requires diamond pads with a wet process to cut slight layers off the stone to bring it up to higher smoother levels to create a shine. The stone is finally buffed to bring out a natural shine in the stone. Deep scratches and etches will require a deeper cut on effected areas and sometimes we need to hand focus very badly lipped of scratched tiles
